A Community-Led Foundation Working Where It's Needed Most
Mazeda Youth Foundation (MYF) works in the river-basin communities of Shahrasthi, Chandpur — where access to healthcare, employment, and clean water remains out of reach for too many families. Through 5 Taka CLINIC, the Bangladesh Mosque Network, and the Project For FreshWater, we bring practical, dignity-first support directly to the people who need it.

Making a Difference Every Day
Three active initiatives — each tackling a critical need in Bangladesh's underserved communities.
5 Taka CLINIC
Affordable Maternal Healthcare for Underserved Communities
Based in Nayongor, Shahrasthi, Chandpur, 5 Taka CLINIC is our flagship maternal health initiative providing essential healthcare to marginalized mothers at a symbolic cost of just 5 Taka — removing the financial barrier that stands between a mother and safe, timely care during pregnancy and childbirth.
The initiative combines an on-the-ground clinic with a digital support platform (available in Bengali, English, and Nepali) offering pregnancy tracking, appointment scheduling, emergency referral support, and health education resources. A central focus is promoting safe normal delivery over unnecessary C-sections — a critical issue in rural Bangladesh where C-section rates have risen sharply. Our long-term vision is to build a dedicated maternity hospital in Shahrasthi, Chandpur.
Bangladesh Mosque Network
A Digital Welfare & Workforce Platform for Imams, Muazzins, and Khadims
Bangladesh Mosque Network (BMN) is a digital platform dedicated to the welfare, recognition, and professional support of mosque-based religious workers — Imams, Muazzins, and Khadims — across Bangladesh. Despite serving as the spiritual and social backbone of tens of thousands of communities, these workers are among the most economically vulnerable with no formal registry, welfare mechanism, or employment support system.
BMN creates verified digital profiles, connects registered personnel with job opportunities at mosques nationwide, and provides access to welfare resources and emergency assistance — building the first organized record of this workforce at scale.
Project For FreshWater
Bringing Clean, Safe Drinking Water to Underserved Communities
Access to clean drinking water remains a critical challenge for marginalized communities along the Dakatia and Meghna river basins in Shahrasthi, Chandpur. Many households rely on unsafe or distant water sources, exposing families — especially women and children — to preventable waterborne diseases and daily hardship.
Through Project For FreshWater, MYF installs individual tubewells directly within these communities, providing sustainable access to safe drinking water. Each tubewell is uniquely identified and tracked as part of a serialized rollout (MYF-01 through MYF-20), ensuring full transparency and accountability. Currently in phase MYF-11, every contribution funds a complete tubewell installation for a household that needs it most.
